So there is certainly place for "Sailfish Secure". Hope Antti Saarnio continues to take the lead and makes that happen so that Sailfish is being used by those governments and corps that are looking to build a leak free fleet of devices based on this OS. https://cdn.jolla.com/wp-content/upl...CURE_FINAL.PDF |
Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla
Certainly not related to the Marc's departure, but you can't buy the Jolla phone anymore on the Jolla web site.

I wonder how many of these "Angry Birds Stella Versions" have been sold? Target audience seems to be a niche group within the niche of Sailfish users... |
Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla
(Topicality questionable depending on whether you believe the phones' availability and Marc's departure are connected or not.)

My internet connection was very sporadic last week and I did not bother checking if the reports of the phones being "out of stock" were true or greatly exaggerated but it seems to be back to normal now. |
Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla
No Pichlo, it's not. Go to the Jolla.com web site, click on Store, and you get only the Tablet, nothing more.
I guess it has been made a bit quick and dirty to remove the phone by deleting some web links. So of course, with a direct access you can still see the page, but with a normal browsing, that's not possible. It may be a mistake on their side tough. |
