I had the same issue, to be honest w you, the phone improved a lot when i change my attitude lol... i know it sounds stupid but is true, you chan check some of the threads i did, some ppl over there gave me tips on how to make it work... :cool:

This thread started around March, it was a joke then obviously, however it is now inevitable that 1.3 will be released. If you look at many comments in git for various Maemo applications, they are indicative of a release being on the way.

Though it does also look like the end of the line for Maemo. An example:

Are you talking about N900? Because as far as I know most folks around here complaining about other stuff like portrait mode, battery life, ..etc, but showing who called you and a normal phone usage?!

Try reflashing your phone, AFAIK there is not much complaining about what you mentioned.

Well thats about it. The rest of the device is awsome
how about the call log.... sometimes i miss it when i have more than 1 missed calls from a number

OTG is impossible. The usb port is of the wrong type, and the ID pin is not physically connected.

It's extremely unlikely that anyone at Nokia is even thinking of host mode either, because it's probably hundreds of manhours of work for a feature the N900 isn't supposed to have anyway according to the specs.

i want the old virtual keyboard back or atleast let us choose between pr 1.1 kb or pr 1.2, i just flash my n900 and i got the old kb back but i cant use plastic theme or font changer :(

I used another, older package to mount network drives, so it's already possible.

Well on the meego blog, the word is finally out! the PR1.3 is almost finished.

Now its time to get a leaked 1.3 version on torrent or start browsing the web for changelogs :)

Who knows... maybe some one will get lucky!!!

I installed the samba 3.5.6 package and smb-tools , but smbmount is still not found.

Some folks here have said that they were able to use Wizard Mounter, but it hasn't worked on any password or non-password protected drive I've tried it with.

I found the week 36 file but cant get it because its on a chinese forum and the file is password protected.
