Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

By the way, what advantage does 'overclocking' do? Does it make applications run faster or something else? (Sorry, I'm not a tech person)

Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

1: kernel 2.6.28-omap1
2: nitdroid

how i can reinstall the kernel?
i cant use USB host mode with this version.
can you tell me what you recom? thx

bakuur 2011-01-08 13:17

Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

see that means you didnt install the power-kernel bootimg yet
as when you properly do so you shull have a second entry
i really gave up on the HostMode for now
need some work before you can use it
install the power42 version for now
its the most stable
i forgot the codes but if you look hard enough you shull find them

Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

I am running triple boot:
1 stock
2 Kernel power 46
3 backupmenu
My phone like the "lv", "250 - 805"
every ting i have tried works nicely except one ting; my camera do not work. It start loading but then flashes "load fails".
In standby mode I save battery compared to stock. Many program runs faster and I feel it don't use more battery when it's running compared to stock.
But it is not nice to have reboot to use camera. What can I do to fix this?

Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

i really dont know about that, but you must update the drivers of the camera

Re: Bakuur's Over-clocking Guide for new comers

Thank's for answer,
The camera is the stock camera software. I am running PR 1.3 and i don't know of any update available. The SSU don' have camera update either. So what update are you referring to?
