At the moment no in the future hard to say. A very good suggestion though.
You can always use the search by typing the application name.

Wonderful widget and I use it often. Love the auto rotation
Can you please provide me the ability to add my app anywhere in a shorcut stash including leaving gaps in between. pls

Also, an option to add a header to the stash will be great.. like I make a "Games" Shortcut stash and it will show Games in title of stash always

Thank you, glad you like the widget.

Currently there is no functionality to add your own shortcuts, and I am not planning on making such a feature.

Could you please explain better what do you mean by

Wow!

Shortcut Stash made to Extras today!

Now I need to figure out how to edit the info in Downloads. How to add a screenshot for the app etc?

Also some help on drawing an icon for this app would be highly appreciated. So if you have an idea or even better are willing to create an icon for this app please post here.

Thanks to everybody who voted Shortcut Stash!

Hi,

Shortcut Stash does not currently support portrait mode. But if I plan to make it support I will fix the dialog.

I am using it with portrait hildon desktop and it works pretty well in portrait mode. As it is one line to add in gtk, I thought it would be something similar in qt

Would it be possible for you the share a screenshot how it is working in portrait mode in your modified hildon desktop?

May I ask what are the benefits compared to "homescreen dockbar" ? I could need something a bit more ressource friendly.

Homescreen dockbar looks really nice and I think it's configurable. Shortcut Stash IMO suits my needs, and hopefully others too. I have not noticed that Stash eats resources.

Also with Stash you have access to web bookmarks and folders under your MyDocs directory. Dunno wheter dockbar has that.

Re: [Announce] Shortcut Stash Home Screen Widget

Thanks for the screenshot sethkha.

Does not look pretty though...
It sure needs some adjustment on the height of the list and also the right side buttons are not visible. IMO they should not even be visible when in portrait mode.

The reason why it is working strange might be that Stash does not currently support portrait mode. I have look into it how to do it in Qt.

Would you consider adding a standalone way to call each portion of this (especially the app launcher)?
That way we would not have to go to the desktop to start it, instead could assign it to a hardware key and bring up interface to launch instantly.

Also the option to cache installed programs (and update cache manually) would increase loading speed tremendously, those who don't like it wouldn't have to turn it on...

Thanks for developing it, love using it! :)

Thanks for your post, I am currently really pressed for time and may not be actively developing Shortcut Stash.

But once I get back to it I will surely take your idea into consideration.
