screw that lol. could you imagin how long it would take to search through all the source code.find the actual graphic plugin. (if there is one) and then turn it into a plugin for pcsx. i wouldnt no where to start lol. maybe if someone could give me some pointers. im not even sure where psx4all came from. if its a ground built emu or an edit of an older emu. anyone know before i go wastin my time with this?

I compiled psx4all for maemo 4, but it not loads my ISOs... I have others sources by Zodttd, made for Zaurus machines, and if it works on a old Zaurus (armv5tel) this must works on a N8x0/N900 ...

Here two codes by ZodTTD:
psx4All-zaurus-pdaXrom_beta4.zip ==> First older version for pdaXrom beta4 works on Zaurus


zpsx006-veryold.zip ==> First PSX emulator source, by zodttd, not have the psx4all name but it is one of the firsts code... this runs on N810 but crash when try run a ISO file.

Smoku YOU ARE MY HERO MAN. got to love your sixaxis kernal addon. i used it to play my snes every time. but some what sometimes it do a frame freeze and slow down more than when i'm running without bluetooth is on. But it's great to play with ps3 controller. love it. Thank you man. Hope to hear that you've got the PS1 psx port to N900 very soon.

It's not really an alpha, but I uploaded the result of todays work to http://github.com/smokku/mpsx/downloads

It crashes when I try loading a game, but at least it starts and kinda works. :D

Wouldn't it be easier to start from one of the ARM targeted psx4all's rather than MIPS? Anyway, good luck with getting it working.

Ali1234 is the one who managed to get a port running and uploaded a video -- but his repo seems to be down atm. He's on IRC often, in case you wonder.

I was thinking of this, which I assumed is aimed at arm given the devices mentioned, but on second glance it looks like mostly same stuff in the repo you've forked anyway.

you have install it etc but tbh i wouldnt waste your time. most games ive tried with this freeze before the title menu, either that or i have no patience. (i mean i gave rayman at least 5 minutes and that has to be one of the most simplest commercial games) I got around 30fps with ff7 then when you start playing it goes to about 20fps, then dies before the first battle. youl need a ile browser than can see root. i use midnight commander. and you have to edit the video.cfg file. i spent ages at it tryna get it to 30fps.... ages. like i said its probably not worth it. after that you will need to make an icon for it or boot it directly with midnight commander. the bootale program is located in /usr/games/*pcsx.

Like i said, if you wanna be dissapointed try it. see what you can get.
otherwise id wait for the saviour smoku to see what he can get with zods emu. :)

I tried ages tryna get different plugins to work but the only one that works is the p.e.o.p.s one thats on the pupnik website. :)

A little teaser...

It's only SDK compilation so far and needs loads of work.
But PCSXr code is a lot easier to work on than psx4all mess.

Looks good Smoku :) I guess this alpha version has maybe 2-3fps and is far away from a playable emulator.

I am working on SDK for now and haven't build for the device yet, but it works surprisingly good on the SDK. :D
