The new version with like button, comments, etc. is great work! One feature request: the pictures that friends have posted are a little small in my feed. Would it be possible to enlarge them by default in the feed view? (or even make the picture size configurable in Settings?) Also, would it be possible to enlarge them by opening a picture viewer screen when I click on them, like the native Facebook client does?

I need to work that. The post display is not really polished (not to say it is basically a quick and dirty hack). I will see how to enhance that :)

Hey, very nice application.
I read the description and you talk about many great features that you're going to add, but nothing about notifications ?
I would be already using this application as my default fb browser if it had notifications.
Any though about the notifications ?
Could this app run under nemo(mer) ?
Once more thank you, continue the great job and can't wait for future releases :)

he tries to make the app with all features... that we can replace standard facebook app. so i guess also notification.

what i would like to have is the option to save facebook photos to gallery ;)

Notifications is my least priority, but it is on my list. Getting notifications is not easy, and having push notifications is even harder, but I will try.

This app do not run under nemo mer now, because I did not decided to port it to there yet ... But it will run if I can do the port (should not be too hard).

You can step in and make it work on mer if you want :).

when talking about notifications.... it would be perfect (dont know how long shot is this, so just sayin) to have notifications (once they are ready) as feed on home screen like native n9 facebook app =):eek:

The friend list could do with a left-side alphabetic scroll-wheel, similar to what the contacts app has when in alphabetic sorting mode. A search for people will lots of friends wouldn't hurt either, but a quick scroll to a letter would help already a lot I think.

thanks for the new version. i think im having problems with photo browsing. when i go to the photos of a friends profile it says No photos. I also tried my profile too. basically i cant see any photos.

I'm preparing the next version, 0.0.5, that is basically a GUI bugfix. Your navigation experience should be waaaay better now :)

There are still some small bugs (see first page) and no major features. Next release will bring more features (I hope).

Should be out in < 1h

EDIT: I found a bug in the login process (a strange bug actually) and I need to remove the file from download now. Should be back in ~1h

EDIT2: The bug is fixed, so

Thanks for this one! The GUI seems more logical this way but my N9's silicon cover has just melted XD
Some things I noticed:
- The the list of people who put like on a page/picture/post can't be scrolled;
- There are "load more" and "load previous" buttons for comments and likes even if there is nothing more to load;
- Pages with long names still mess up the post for me;
- The cover picture of albums has always bad quality and that's a pity because the UI for album browsing is cool (this also on previous versions);

Cannot fix that ... easily, because facebook provides bad photos like that when browing albums.

One thing for future improvements: If you divide some of your comments with your friends and groups, every time you do so an exampel of this comment is placed in the Me map, meaning that there can be a lot of the same comment shown in this map.;)

First of all, this app is developing so fast! thank you.

One of the things I would like to see is; when browsing photos, you can see the comments and likes on a picture and have a chance to like and comments yourself. Maybe something like the stock app has.

I might introduce an option to remove the separators, but I feel that separating 1. the friend that is posting + the post, 2. the shared content (link), 3. the "like + comment" field makes sense.

The posts are separated since they have different white background. And something sad is that the separator appears in your phone in a very dark way while they are very light, because of your theme. They are very discrete in the "normal" theme.

In another topic: groups are done. It was not so hard, since the computer is coding for me (with scripts generating code) :P

I will do an initial support of pages before releasing the next version. I will also try to have an autoupdate system.

Some lags in news feed appear for me while scrolling posts with long text content (i mean VERY long), maybe this would disappear cutting long posts and showing them fully only by pressing on them (as it is right now) ;)

I pushed 0.0.6. There is a new way to get updates, so please read the first post carefully.

New version brings groups support, but not page support yet. That's for the next version :)

I used the terminal method (wget and apt-get). Installed without errors but got no icon on launcher screen. No previous versions installed.

Edit: Application can be launched using "Search"
