Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.0]
I've found the problem.
The Power Menu QML changes the "double press" action by default. This shouldn't be done... The default action should be: Code:
PowerKeyDoubleAction=disabled Please change it, so it won't edit that part of the mce.ini |

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.0]
i really don't understand what you mean.
you like screen blinking when you fast pressing power key? what you want double press to do? Edit: @HtheB and @Mikkosssss you got a flexible tool, but you dont want to understand how it work. is it okay for you? If yes, i dont want to read your comments about any of my applications. Just ignoring your posts :) |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.0]
By the way released v0.1.2 with some extended double press settings behaviour. It can make noobs happy. If not i'll just give it up :)
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
If you mean me with noob.
I am happy with HtheB/lorenzo solution. I dont need/want any double press actions. I tried to tell you that screen blinking is default action when pressing powerkey many times because theres no delays. |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
i will be happy if you don't need to use my app at all. Just use Mohhamad's Extended Power Menu. Its very suitable for you.

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
Ok, guys, I've installed all power-menu-qml releases from trusted repo and updated them successfully via apt-get upgrade. And all releases works fine. What am I doing wrong?

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
Just like me, lol :)

Ancelad and Morpog If you dont use double press and dont like that small delay when locking screen and moving in power menu with nokia legacy behaviour you can change this line: PowerKeyDoubleAction=disabled |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.0]
Thanks, double press rocks!

And if you knew how to do it why you didint tell before... |
Coderus please check on store there's an app called doublepress2unlock..:)

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
and why should he do that?
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
CODeRUS works for free, and he can distribute his apps "as is" without fixing your uncertain bugs. Do you understand this? :) Also he can ignore you. But it doesn't mean he is stupid. We all must respect his work.

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.2]
@zaidk9 you think author of doublepress2unlock was first who found mce.ini? then you wrong. is was TMO community :)

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.5]
As the vibrate feature follows global device feedback vibration setting from phone profiles & ringtones section which I have disabled since it's annoying while using Swype (but only there as I'd love to disable them only for Swype) is there a way to only disable vibration for Swype, so I can have vibrations for this?
Never mind, found the solution ;-) http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...8&postcount=14 One last bug: use only reboot and shutdown with legacy behaviour, you still need to cycle through four items, even though two are hidden... This should follow the item count that's activated. Legacy behaviour for profiles would be nice too :P Very potent app, now that I could set delays to 100 500 1000 :D Thanks a lot iCODeRUS! |
Hi everybody...i'm trying to install power menu with debinstall but i have this problem...can Someone help me?
Aegis rejecting /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/power-menu-qml.deb: package 'power-menu-qml' already installed from 'com.nokia.maemo' -- not replacing it from unknown origin aegis aborting dpkg -- all listed package files rejected Compilation failed in require. |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.5]
Do you have this: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=90750
And you need to switch trusted and press Dpkg. |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.5]

Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
WTF!!!
I tried to uninstall power menu qml via the button in the settings window and it started to remove all of my applications (system apps as well!!!) i shut it down and now my n9 is a brick -.- |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
@mcbook solve your QQ tweak problems in N9QT thread, not in my, please. Thanks :)
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
this is not an n9twealks problem!
apps were removed after i tapped "remove application" in the power-menu-qml settings window!!! |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
Because of QQ tweak in N9QT. Could have happened with another app you uninstall.
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
makes no sense to me since n9qtweaks wasn't even open and i didn't use that tweak but....
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
@mcbook we all like your fable. continue please. i'd like to read about fairies and rainbow pony :)
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
dude!
you think I like to reflash my n9?? setting up all my apps and stuff... way to go! |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.6]
@mcbook it sad story, but it's not related to application. take it.
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.7]
Released v0.1.7 with some ui and settings ui fixies, some settings not triggered mce restart.
|
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.7]
mcbook, you rock :D
Remove button stops power-menu-qml process and starts SYSTEM uninstall procedure. It doesn't affect system packages at all. |
Re: [Announce] Power Menu QML for Harmattan [v0.1.7]
At least for me, with the last three versions (0.1.5-0.1.7) seems like the "Power off" option does not actually shutdown the device.
All other options work as expected. Version 0.1.4 worked fine, at least in that respect. Does anyone else have this issue? |
