Yes, I know. I chose not to believe the website, since it hasn't changed with the latest news. And the contact number was freefone.
People at Amazon are adamant. So either they're right, or Nokia is mis-informing htem. |

I can see the point about leaving the date wrong on the main page - but I don't see they gain anything by lying to me. In fact, if they set back the date after I called them this close to it to check, they stand a risk of me cancelling and buying elsewhere. And if they lose my book and dvd custom, (not to mention that of all my friends and family), they lose something. I'm sure Amazon can stand that loss - but it's not a way to do business for long. |

I phoned Nokia in the UK yesterday and they said N900 would be released at the end of November! Also it would be on all uk networks? Do you think they are telling porki pies?

Two of you posted within eight minutes of each other: both had rung Nokia UK yesterday - and you'd got very different answers.
Either you're in alternate universes, or one of you spoke to a customer service operator who did not tell the truth. Or both of you spoke to customer service operators who did not tell the truth. Or both of you spoke to customer service operators who did not know of what they spoke. ;) In other words, neither of you can reply on the information you were given. |
