Just out of curiosity - from the dev kit's specs:
Does anybody know, which GNSS besides GPS are supported?
I guess Glonass is included since I believe it is mandatory for manufacturers of GNSS hardware to include it to be allowed to sell their devices in Russia, and while I'm not sure I think I heard a similar thing about Beidou in China.
What about Galileo (Europe), QZSS (Japan) and NAVIC (India)?

At least Galileo [1] and Beidou [2] are.
Afaik QZSS and NAVIC are not operational (yet), but from what I've heard, QZSS is technically very similar to GPS (signals, not orbits) and should therefore be easy to include.

Thanks, sulu. I was referring specifically to the three I quoted.
I was under the impression that Galileo was still under development, apparently I was mistaken.

it looks like a lot of time and effort I cannot quite afford these days

I didn't buy the developer kit. No time to mess around at this stage. Apparently they are still on schedule for Jan 2019. I am glad if that is the case. But I have low expectations for a polished device. Hopefully it will be usable.

In this one they talk mainly of many details in all parts of the stack, from kernel drivers to UI. Some hardware references (SOM, Modem, ...) chosen for the eval board are also presented.

They also ask for graphics drivers guru willing to help to reach them.
