From where I'm sitting that's a reasonable comment, not meant personally, and you have overreacted at some perceived slight and got quite defensive...

Let's all just chill :)

Indeed. Some are really bizarre :D

Let's eat some habanero pill and chill.

I'm genuinely interested.

Of course :
- (Bones' voice) I'm a doctor, Jim ! Not an atomic physicist !
- I was over-exagerating it a bit for the sake of humour.

BUT !...

From what I've learned from radio-protection lessons is that beta radiation (basically: electrons) while being less energetic than alpha (basically: helium nucleus),
do still require a few milimeters of shielding.

(Hence my conception of lithium battery being exposed).

So the idea that you can shield it inside a powder is intriguing.

And most beta radiation does. However, tritium is very low-energy beta radiation, and is blocked by almost everything: in fact, it can only penetrate about 6 mm of open air, and is blocked by the dead outermost layer of human skin as well. So yes, a powder would be quite effective shielding.

@chenliangchen could you update the first post to show the current (full) provisional spec sheet, teaser pictures and targetted release/crowdfunding announcement.

If your still beating a dead horse.......maybe it is time to dismount.

Chen I guess Dave is not a gambling man if he does not want to take you up on your offer.

You're not dreaming big enough.

It's a bad offer.

You got Turing for that :D
But seriously, there's a bunch of OEMs out there with 5 new models with 6 variants every month and none of them doesn't even consider something with HWK. Then Chen steps in with something that we all want and something that sounds way better than Jolla or ony of their partners ever did (and I beleieve all of them have more resources and money) and now we are talking about radioactive backlight, 17 special HW buttons, 527 different keyboard layouts.......
This is not my dream phone either but it has a potential as is to be better than anything else on the market.
