Click on the "TALK" tab at the top.
Choose the catergory that you want to start the thread in for example "general" and click on that.
Then on the top left of the screen it will say "New thread". Click on that and away you go.

Edit: Just seen that you managed it!

I think you must make the file wmRightbutton.png wmRightButton.png transparant to.

@iceman600 let me know if that works, if not I'll look into it for you. Trouble is half my images folder is transparent, which really doesn't help when you're looking for an icon :rolleyes:

anyway do you know where can i find the slider on the lock screen... not the thumbnail but the white part on the bottom of the slider.

i want to make it transparent so there is only the slider in there.

Or you can just install my Theme Customizer and adjust top menu opacity to the level you want :)
That way you don't have to manually place any images anywhere and it works with any theme.

ok, two more from me. The main homescreen has been tidied up and D4klar was kind enough to do the reflections for me, so huge thanks for that.
The other one is my 'out' screen. It's landscape because the keyboard was out for a screenshot, but the icons are DrLaunch and the clock Nicolai has made autorotate, so when i'm out i have a portrait screen. Coupled with shortcutd doing a rotate when i half press the camera button and portrait keyboard from devels installed, i can text and email one-handed, and obviously make a call the same way.

Just a quick question Rich, how are you finding the DrLaunch app? I remember it being quite buggy (no offence to any developers that may be reading this!) on release...

I have no problem with it generally, the only issue i have is that it doesn't always switch to portrait mode. It's not the end of the world because obviously the icons don't swap places and so my fingers needn't go to a different place, it's just aesthetics and i'd really like to be able to say to someone 'hey check this out' rather than 'hey check this out, no wait give it a minute, i'll just open filebox to put the phone into portrait, then close it, but wait, now watch!' ;)

Generally though, i think it's a great widget, it could do with some improvements to the reliability of its autorotate but that's all.

My main issue right now is why my widgets keep randomly disappearing for no apparent reason

That sounds like a Hildon conflict, there's always a reason and usually a widget is to blame....

Starting with the extras-devel ones I'd take out one widget every couple of days till the problem stops so you can identify the culprit ;)

Well that's the thing, it's been running absolutely beautifully, and i don't think i've installed any widgets from devels lately.

I have installed a couple of things from devels, like the TravelApp update and the flashlight extra, the only widget i've installed is QBW that i can remember.

There's a few of us here - 'fieldofcows' - the user, i found out recently lives at the end of my old road, about 800metres from where i'm sitting now :) (Year, pretty near fields! - though not many cows!)


Would be good to have a mini meetup - i recommended brighton earlier this year, but we could do chichester or worthing :)
anyway - i'd better put this in a different thread before i get mauled to death :P
