I'm having trouble getting it to boot.
Single ext3 partition or dual..

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

Triple booting?? :D Great!
Could also be my SD. I just got a new 16GB.

I'm just getting page after page of errors.
I had this yesterday when I was testing 2.2, then I redone it again and it fixed itself... Not this time though.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

yes triple booting. going to try the new rootfs with overclocking enabled. i m using 8gb with 1.9 gb partitions

kingoddball 2010-06-27 05:42

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

Ok.
I've got the triple boot to work, but I had to use my old 8GB SD.
My new one just ran with a crap load of error (seems like 1000 errors).
Is there anything to do with an SD to see why it won't work?

Both of my cards are class 2 sdhc San Disk.

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

i had triple boot running but froyo keyt kernel panicking on boot (did this without tri-boot too)

kingoddball 2010-06-27 06:02

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

I just had that. I went back into linux - reformatted that panicking partition twice (to make sure) and re sent the nitdroid files to SD partition.
Use gparted to see if it's fine (triangle with ! means error).
Just wait at the bootmenu screen for about 20 seconds to initialise the SD and try it again.

@Siggen:
Great news for the X10 - Rooted today :D :D
Awaiting setup guide and details:

Steve mate great work, i have one question before i go ahead finish reading the wiki on how to install it, do i 100% need a micro card to install this? i cant use the n900s mem to install it right? Sucks if i do i dont have any micro sd cards laying around nor do i have a micro sd slot anyway

dj_steve 2010-06-27 12:05

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

need microsd, i dont want to risk people screwing up their devices by messing with the internal storage.
