You have to install jflat patch in order to work(keyboard mapping). After run the script nothing seems to happen. then just run the game from the icon

Seriously Guys, I don't know why, but I cannot play fifa on preenv 1.0.4 the game seems to open and suddenly, white screen then shuts down. I tried to apply gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/preenv/fifa But it did not solve the problem! With latest patch of course

Why the heck lot of webos games run very poor on my n900 ? i have oc'd to 900-1100 and avatar is very slow. And second question why only shooting and moving is binded to keyboard ? It would be easier to move with touchscreen and shoot/jump with keyboard.

Im not whining... I just watched from youtube and avatar should run smooth on n900 ? Im asking help what could be wrong.

Then I apologize. For the speed issues, make sure you're providing sufficient power for the cpu and dsp, that is, do not lower the voltages as in the ULV scheme, otherwise you won't have dsp acceleration.

I can not get earthwormjim to work with the keyboard only assassins creed,i try reintalling preenv and libsdlpre.so still not working can anybody help me out

first delete your current fifa installed.
make a new one. if u installed through deb package . its ok so far.
try
sudo gainroot
chmod 755 gamepath/com.app.fifa if im not wrong
and
chown -R user:users gamepath/com.appxxxx

make sure you have preenv latest version and jflatt patch 67 kb.

first : make sure u have preenv 0.1.4 not 0.1.3

then download this patch

copy it to /opt/preenv/lib

then download this patch :
http://www.mediafire.com/?6pt8zpfcr9doc9z

copy it to /home/user/MyDocs

open terminal and write :

sh /home/user/MyDocs/fifa-mido.fayad.sh

remove the game and ten remove all remaining files by filebox then install it again and MAKE SURE U HAVE PREENV 0.1.4

Fixing this problem is hard since we don't have any access to the debugger report.Sorry for asking the this question,but have you tried what cloud596 says again(If mido.fayad's solution still doesn't help):

Okay, I finally resolved (Partially) my problem. I ran it from the terminal by typing

Code:

preenv

/home/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/com.eamobile.fifa/fifa

Then it runs fine. So the Problem is that I can't open it from the menu (Fifa Icon), but only from the terminal. How Can I fix this Issue?? And thanks to all the members who helped me.

you can find the .sav files if they exist in the game path

probably in this path

/opt/preenv/user/palm/application/com........[game file name]
