hes there..cos musikloud was updated n works now. cutetube was updated last week but still the "no streams found" issue. ive given up on that issue!

When hacking on the new issue can you look into the old code to help us get a better convert command string to replace the old convert to audio button? Even better if it was to mp3 as Panucci won't do ogg or m4a for stuff like converted lectures and news.

You'd better ask the developer for that(raise an issue on github for example), I am not going to do it, too much on the plate already.

cutetube seems to not work at all anymore since two days. Correct?

Videos are found but do not play anymore on any player afaik

It also had stopped working for me, but I deleted my profile from CuteTube and re-created it (which means redoing the Google oauth authentication and authorisation). Can you try that?

I actually had not used a specific account while using cutetube2. However your post made me curious if it perhaps would matter if I did. So I re-activated the account I have. No joy.

I then removed any cutetube related files like in /home/user/.config and reinstalled cutetube2 and tried it with a youtube account activated. Again, it does find videos in various formats but they're impossible to open.

yay! i wasn't aware downloading still works. of course it'd be great if playback works too, but at least (for me) this is better than nothing

Not every video has a stream to start with, according to cute, and those that have, seams to be playable at most when downloaded as 360p MP4 audio/video.
720p MP4 audio/video starts playback of both audio and video, but cuts out pretty much straight away, (something like a second plays) with the error saying it's not a compatible format. Ignoring the message and pressing the "play" icon again plays the next second, and so on. I'm guessing i need a better player then the default one at this point.
Neat that downloading works, i didn't even know that was a feature. Thanks.

pull request with the fix is on github https://github.com/marxoft/qyoutube/pull/4, it is up to marxian to make a new release.

In the meanwhile I can provide .deb for the impatient ones if requested

It would be nice if you could upload an updated Harmattan version to OpenRepos. The Harmattan version has not been updated for quite some time.

youtube-dl works flawlessly. Also when cutetube shows "No stream found" or "Video cannot be played". It need chroot. Some image
can be for example debian jessie from here http://qole.org/files/ That's best for multi download.

I have gobbled up both qyoutube_0.1.9_armel.deb and libsoup and youtube works like a charm now!

Btw, looks like cute tube still plays from dailymotion. But youtube hasn't work for me in a few days. May try freemangordon or wait for the update.

Many thanks freemangordon, I got youtube working again in cutetube. Followed your instructions and had no issues. Even use FAP for some lib's ;)

I experience 2 other problems.

Videos in youtube do play but sound can disappear all of a sudden, to reappear after a while most of the times. This can occur a few times in a short video.
Also sometimes the video is broken off prematuraly, it then just ends or goes blank for a while.

This occurs in cutetube and KMP player alike. It is not in a regular manner reproduceable afaik.

Any suggestions on howto cope would be much appreciated.

I can confirm 7thd's report. I don't normally play videos in cutetube but today decided to.
Of course downloading the video is a good workaround, at least for me

How can i resolve an issue where in cutetube i cannot find any of he YT videos. nothing.

-that the provided .deb is a temporary fix and not a new release as it normally would be.
-the problem I described above here is still there. Cutetube2 doesn't seem to buffer very well. Also, Occasionally cutetube2 says it cannot play videos, after which a restart of the phone helps.
-signing in YT account: I think signing in or not makes no difference

Please post if your have new results; hopefully then someone will be willing to have a look at these problems

One little side note: for me video playback is working only with "built in" cutetube player; mplayer and open media player is not working.
