Tested and working brilliantly after reboot!! No issues found so far :)
Full one-handed operation is here at last, combined with FastSMSEvo it's a winner.

not getting this done!

xterminal--->root(enter)
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/downloads/hildon-desktop_2.2.142-13_armel(enter)

no luck...fools advice please? :)

Yeah....tried everything including this. Even re-installed the deb a couple of times but doesnt work.

You are probably missing .deb. Try to use tab to guess the filename.

what do I need to do, so your deb file works?
I rebooted, and: killall hildon-desktop
I use now 1 wallpaper, cssu features have been set to default

anything else?

that is great, everything works without problems, and one bug (notced as feature too) orientation lock, you know what i'm talking about :)

You just need to write the whole file name - including .deb

do this one line at a time
root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
dpkg -i hildon-desktop_2.2.142-13_armel.deb
reboot
press enter after each line
