And yeah MCIP... But that won't work on me. I don't know but once I installed it and it looks like a messed up skinless/themeless keyboard to me. All backgrounds are white and only letters are showing up.

a great portrait support . But if we can choose to rotate to landscape by open the keyboards or not .

How do I uninstall this new hildon-desktop or revert back to the old one? I've got problems ending calls

Go to terminal.

# sudo apt-get install --reinstall hildon-desktop; killall hildon-desktop

hi,
the new portrait desktop is working quite good! Very impressive!

However I've got problems with qbw widgets with "Hide Background: Yes", I have a qbw widget which shows every 2 secs the top 3 cpu tasks. In portrait mode the "old" displayed text stays when the text gets updated.
This problem also occurs in NextAlarmWidget.

hi guys i had to reflash 3 times and still cant get portrait to work, ive tried everything and it ends up in a reboot loop , it goes as far as asking the pin number , then reboots. any ideas?

Since I had the new hildon-desktop installed I had problems ending calls. When one call ends and I put the phone away from my ear and I want to press the "end call button" the phone application disappears for two seconds, I see the desktop and then reappears. I'm running kernel power v47. The problem was gone when I reinstalled the "normal" hildon-desktop.
