You've seen Jolla's products have you? Please post a link.

Only Jesus will see them. Pure smoke and mirrors. And if anything, you will get N9 like abomination.

This is simple, and truth.

As to Jolla not becoming a success, that's a question of perspective. Jolla is already more successful than 95 % of starter businesses. Better funding, more employees and from what I can tell, closer to production than most companies this young. Are they going to be top 3 smart phone makers? No. Neither is ZTE. Does that mean ZTE is a failure?

No.

IMO, the main reason Nokia want to classify it as a smartphone is so that it boosts the units in the quarterly reports hence they wouldn't need to specify explicitly the success of Lumia series...

Its a way to market the devices as well as a safe fall-back for Elop who can cover up the fallings of Lumia if they don't really sell well...

After all, I think the Asha series gives around 10% margin just like what Elop expects from WP series phones whereas Symbian and N9 gave him 20-30% margins...So with same margin it would be more difficult to get the real Lumia sales figures...

NOKIA do NOT classify the Asha series as smartphones (but they should IMO).

Its seems Apple need a better Maps for IOS.

I guess Elop can help them by selling NokiaMaps to Apple and then leak a internal mail: "Nokia Maps is not ready. Its time to go Bing Maps instead."

That would not suprise me. We all know how stupid and desperate the current Nokia board is...

No.

ZTE are very big in China and Latin America, they recently announced 300% year on year growth, they are already the global number five smartphone manufacturer and are only a smidgen behind HTC and NOKIA. Don't rule them out of being a top 3 smartphone maker, it could happen much sooner than you think.

Early next year they are going to release Firefox OS handsets so I'll definitely be looking to buy a ZTE.
