Was it worth the post . Anyway contact nokia online uk however you like they will still tell you that it's shipping the 9th .

Good morning folks and i hope you all have a Happy N900 shippings' Eve.

I've been hearing that Nokia has had little helpers who have been watching who has been good boys and girls. If you have been good you will get your device shipped tomorrow, if you have not been good you get an iphone.

Even though i exclusively announced this, don't quote me on it.

One things for sure, when i rang them they said i would be getting the device the same time as them more then likely.

I bought a LG gc900 from them about 4 months back and it was £200 less than anyone else and their delivery was uber fast. Shame the phone's camera software was fek'd but they were a pleasure to deal with when i sent it back.

Here's hoping. However, I pre-ordered mine at the Helsinki flag ship store. At the time, (21st Oct, Maemo-meet), the store told us that we would receive an email one day before launch, and that the handsets would be available in the worlwide Nokia stores 3 days before general shipping - so far no email.
But perleease make me wrong!

Nokia Online UK confirmed shipping starting on the 9th Nov.

But haven't seen release firmware yet so doubt it.
No email received ever since the confirmation of the order neither.

okay folks i am going in my u-boat and i will sink the n900 ship(ill sink every ship what leaves helsinki...the reason is that nokia wont give any information and i just went insane :D

Wow.... It's taken me a while to register but hello!
I was looking at buying a new phone back in September, and very nearly got something rubbish! - happened to think back to the good old days and wanted to see if Nokia was bringing anything decent out soon. After 2 nights of solidly reading about the N900 - i was hooked and pre-ordered.

Since then i have kept up to date with this thread daily (+ the previous one)! it has been hilarious - so thank you! :)

Anyway apart form NukNuk who is getting his by the 10th, i'm assuming there hasn't been a peep from Nokia since the "November" phrase.... Worth going into hibernation for another week? :)

Haha... - many many reasons, but simple personal reasons are - Keyboard, Maemo/Open Source......

I admit the iphone is user friendly to the general person, but stupidly expensive and really not worth the money.... (UK Networks anyway)

also, i have a graveyard of nokia's next to me (Some like the N93, quite hideous), but all have served me well :)

i organizing a nokia meetup where everybody are welcome if nokia delays n900 again?its called mokiameetup2009 connectin piiople and its midlle in finland.....:) we will see what tomorrow brings???im happy for uk if shipment is sure?i want it to come finland too,,hopefully soon:cool:
