Hello,

I am using the latest version, and sometimes contacts are marked as online remain "stuck" in that status, similarly a receiving message did not appear until I have to disconnect-quit and start the app again.

Yesterday I noticed that I couldn't see image-texts (a feature in official whatsapp where you can add a title or text to a picture you send through whatsapp.) Is that possible to make compatible with Mitakuuluu?

Hello,

I noticed the option to disable showing media files in gallery a tad late.
Is there a way to do this retroactively?
(I disabled the option, but all previous media seems to stick in place.)

I don't mind tinkering a bit with config files (or even the database), but I'd like to make sure that all media can still be found through Mitakuuluu afterwards, while none of it should appear in Gallery.

Hello,

I'd like to retroactively disable showing media files from Miakuuluu in Gallery - is it possible?
Disabling the option in settings does not seem to move the files.

With a bit of advice on how Mitakuuluu handles the media file locations, I don't mind manually editing config files or the database--just as long as I can still find the files through Mitakuuluu afterwards.

I have noticed some lagging with Mitäkuuluu after the Uitukka update.
Sometimes it's diffícult to navigate thru app because the sluggishness.
So, any fixes available for this problem?

I can only differentiate and integrate. :D

Edit... This is completely useless app right now with Uitukka. Lags too much. This kind of lagging started after Mitakuuluu v0.8.10. v0.8.9 worked smoothly but I cand find the 0.8.9 .rpm file anywhere.

Well, to be fair: it does only happen after upgrading to Uitukka. But it's only a slight lag for me. Not a lag that's bothering, just something you notice a little bit.

Hi,

first of all thank you coderus for this great app!

I upgraded yesterday to Uitukka befor that I did a factory reset of my Jolla.
I didn't removed my WA accout (was this a mistake?).

So now I installed all my apps again (I also did no backup of some kind - thought I don't need one).

I was trying to setup Mitakuuluu again but failed on registration. I get the SMS with a code, it will be recogniced and said ... wrong code.
I tried it with manuel input of code, takes a long time and ends up with a failure. Now I have to wait 24h to make a new atempt :-(

Any idea what I did wrong or any advise?

If the next attempts fail I'll send you a log, if that helps.

Hi,

first of all thank you for this great app.

After updating to Uitukka yesterday ... I've problem with registration.

What I did:

• a factory reset of my jolla
• I did't delet my WA account (was this a mistake?)
• I did't not do any backup of apps confs (nearly everything is synced)
• update the jolla
• installed my apps again
• starting Mitakuuluu and tried to register ...

So that workt so far ... got the SMS it was deteced ... said code was wrong.
Restartet Mitakuuluu tried again with manuel input of the code several time:
takes verry long and gives error, some times said the code is no longer valid, again tried automaticaly (got the same code as befor)

Now I'm blocked for registration for 24h. :mad:

Any advise ...help what I schould do different the next time I try to register?

If my problem persist and a logfile will help you, I'll send it.

For whom cant register mitakuuluu:

After you receive the SMS, the mitakuuluu first time mention requested code is invalid, check you SMS, there is a URL link tell you to verify your device, v.whatsapp.com/xxxxx, do it in your Jolla and then enter that code again, then you will success

I have tried to solve and it is not problem in whatsapp
I not stupid, man, I test in android whatsapp in Jolla and it works, but mitakuuluu not.


Finally i found the solution, seem the verification in mitakuuluu got problem, need enter the URL included in that SMS to verified and enter the code in mitakuuluu again

I've had this problem only once in Mitaakuuluu but also on the Android version once when I had a temporary Android device. So it is in fact a problem in WhatsApp, but that doesn't mean it happens to everybody with the same client.

TMavica, I tried to follow your advice and only got a tiny message in the browser remarking that it appeared I did not had Whatsapp installed. Managed to enter the code using the 'I have a code' option at the top of the Mitakuuluu registration page. A message saying 'Registering account' appeared at the bottom. Never finished the task!

Have you close all whatsapp client when doing?
After I get the SMS code, i enter the v.whatsapp.com/xxxxxx in browser, it said verified. The I close mitakuuluu and open again, enter the code, then it success.

PS: I not use random salt password that time, i enter that myself too, both 2 times

Let me try remember what I have do

1. Close all whatsapp client or stop alien dalvik service
2. Enter Salt password myself and request code, then it auto load and failed, request code invalid
3. Close mitakuuluu
4. Enter the URL from the SMS, v.whatspp.com/xxxxxx in Jolla browser and verified
5. Open mitakuuluu again, enter your information again and PREVIOUS salt password (you enter that first time) > Enter 6 digit code
6. Success

It's not working at the first try (anymore at least). When opening the URL nothing gets verified and progressing with 5 ends with an unlimited "registering" message.
I then open the url twice again (once at the phone and once at the PC). Then rebooted and entered the code again in Mitakuluu. Now I'm registered. Anyhow, the registration process has some serious hickups.

Error: "Login failed!"
What I have tried to do: uninstall and reinstall the app...no help. Then the app asks me to register, I tried to get the code via sms/call, says blocked. So I can't get the app working. This is ridiculous because Mitäkuuluu worked excellent yesterday..

And is there an another way than hard reset to uninstall the app completely? There are many left-over files after uninstallation.

Same problem for me as well. Mitakuuluu says login failed and native Android whatsapp says my number is no longer allowed. Seems like whatsapp has started blocking users that use unofficial client.
