The clocks are working for me.
Now I'm writing the worldclock window.
Can someone try the alarms too?
Rename /usr/bin/worldclock to /usr/bin/worldclock.bak to keep the old one.
Here's the binary:

I have a seperate testing device now so I gave this a try but now my clock doesnt work at all?

Whilst you are working on the clock/alarm, would it be possible to add a button to remove all the previoulsy set alarms?

As all the previous alarms set are stored within an ini file (/var/cache/alarmd/alarm_queue.ini), this file can grow pretty big over time which causes a noticable lag with the program starting up, especially as I need to set between 15-20 alarms to wake me up in the morning. :p

Is it possible to make the onscreen-keyboard a bit higher in portrait mode? So the buttons of symbols etc. can become a little bit bigger?

Like the default keyboard better than fastsmsevo and mcip . . .

Not with the built-in app, that is closesourced. You can rewrite it:)

You should set "force rotation to 1" in transitions.ini

download the HD deb file to Documents folder, then type in xterm
Code:

root
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/.documents/hildon-(PRESS TAB to autocomplete the name of the DEB file) PRESS ENTER

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

dpkg -i gives me "cannot acces archive: no such file or directory". I have 3 types of kind of file; a rotate.deb, hd_17_07_2011.deb, and hildon-desktop_2.2.142-13_armel.deb
Yes I am root, yes I've written the names right. :)
and pressing tab doesn't autocomplete the filename.

gonna search for the transitions.ini file

did it!
opening xterm,
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i <filename> didn't work
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/hildon-desktop...deb did work.
