No,
this is still that version which was meant to enable mods in Quake 3.

It is still not fixed

Hello everyone,

What has happened to the maintainer of Q3A? It has been well over a month since I have seen him around and a known buggy version still exists. From the very little that I know about him, I don't think he is the kind of person that would leave his name attached to buggy software.

Has anyone heard anything?

I am fine with using the older version but I think about when newcomers download Q3A for the first time and write off the project as being frustratenly unresponsive.

That doesn't bode well for the N900 port.

He is busy and just returned from a great long holiday...

I checked his site and still nothing new on the progress....
I just stick with the previous version...

guys currently when trying to play ioquake3 it will act likes its loading and then drop back to the desktop. Anyone else experiencing this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Do I need to edit or delete the config files to let it create new ones?

Try running it from xterm and see if there's an error message.

Re: Quake 3 on N900

You guys need to drop the game files in /home/user/.q3a or .quake2

So they need to be inside the folders with a 'dot' in front of it.
You need to start quake3 once (and it closes) to make the .q3a folder appear....

Use for example GPE filemanager do copy them to this hidden spot
