but can u change the symbol to other symbol????

as you can see at the two picture below...your symbol layout is the same...
you might wanna change to other symbol....

@jo21: goog for you!there is not difference in show time between mine and maemo one after the first start, and maemo one have a 'bit' less option like T9 -_- and please read at least the first post of a thread before post

Can you please provide an button like in android to minimize the keyboard after typing teh required words.. This is better than putting your finger all the way up outside the keyboard window to close it

since a lot of us are pretty cool with the default layout of the vkb, is it possible to make ONLY the T9 appear during portrait rotation but the default vkb appears for landscape mode? cause I kinda like the layout of the default vkb keys (got used to it) in landscape mode. I think a lot are feeling the same too

@realsportcars : i hope you can add symbol such as % and other symbol in the new layout....

as far as the idea on a minimize button you can take a look at the picture below and see if my idea can be implant for the next release....

no...i dislike the idea of having only one button for punctuation and you have to consider that also alphanumeric layout must have the minimize button...
A possible idea is place it near text area with another button for smiles layout...

but first I want a feedback from community on what already exists

I think that both fastsms and fastsmsevo are stable enough, so I promoted those in testing repository
