Is it worth trying to reflash my N9 to get this to work? |

just updated the colors to the 5.2 that i have been working on.
what do you think? also, it seems the transitions of 5.2 are a bit choppy. also, look slike the documnts background was missed. it is still white wiht a grey font now. |

Report :
First installation after reflash, failed. Then ssh into it, put folder back in again (since after installation the folder will self-delete?) , and use reapply.sh, still failed. Reboot. Again ssh into it, put folder into directory again, this time use install.sh for the second time. Error messages shown, (can't rename etc...) BUT, it succeeded at my second attempt  THANKS FOR THIS WONDERFUL THEME!! as images shown below, some of my other mods :P How do you like the chalkboard + wooden frame theme? Btw,My dropN9 has become Captain America color theme (seems rather cool ? blue+red) ~LOL!! |
Re: F.D.B. (Faster, Darker, Better) Themes v5.2 (12/1/12)
ok i've got it to work at long last
1) Install the theme using the install.sh file 2) If you get a theme with no dark backgrounds and only change in colours of tabs do the following: - Change to blanco theme using Themechanger - Log in using winscp using root account - Copy "meegotouch" folder from desktop directly to "/usr/share/themes/fdb-original/" , click Yes to All when it comes to replacing files - Now change back to FDB - original and all should work fine. Thanks F2thak for the brilliant work and effort put in the theme. |
Re: F.D.B. (Faster, Darker, Better) Themes v5.2 (12/1/12)
another confirmation here, somehow account auto save will be disable. It has something to do with CSS file overriding the default one? It should be an easy fix, i replace my Nokia lock screen CSS file too.

Re: F.D.B. (Faster, Darker, Better) Themes v5.2 (12/1/12)
Older versions scripts have messed up original files. v5.2's scripts should be right. The easy way to fix is reflash. You can manually restore too.

Urgent f.d.b
IS there a posibility, to add JUST the meego booting image, where di I have to restore it?
thanks, and then some script to do it from terminal because filebox don't let me just copy here:/home/user/MyDocs/original/booting.png /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/images/system-services/ rm -rf or this line: -f /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/images/system-services/booting.png /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/images/system-services/booting.png.orig cp I have converted the Install.sh from F.D.B to install.txt and extracted those lines. but explain me just how to add the Meego booting.png to this folder well I did this: cp /home/user/MyDocs/booting.png /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/images/system-services and I think it was installed as boot image. |
