There are a lot of reasons for a reflash. Many things can go wrong when you "tease" your device a lot.
But as long as you keep backup of your stuff, it is a pretty straightforward procedure. When you reach to the point of no return... ask in the forums. We will provide you written guides. you are welcome! |

Small question,
I'm right now happily using the power51 kernel, which is including thumb patches as the prep for the CSSU kernel (I think :) ), with the latest u-boot. If I enable the cssu-thumb repo I'll get the thumb kernel flashed. Will it integrate with u-boot nicely ? Or do I have to re-install u-boot, create the item file for the Thumb kernel and then the usual update bootmenu.scr update? I guess anyway the value of u-boot will be reduced as I'll be only allowed to boot Maemo with the thumb kernel? Or is the latest power51 also already fully compatible? Is it tested? Thanks for the effort so far :) |

i am also experiencing reboot loops, but i dont want to do a reflash.
is it possible to install that file without using a pc? or how? please help us... |

is there a way to trigger the installation ham shows me all packages to update but actually only 2 where upgraded
