The ovi store gets updated on Thursday so that's my guess

thanks...i found the files now...they are just sorted in a strange order :-D

do I need to upgrade the eMMC too?

Yeah--no need to flash eMMC. Fair warning though: everything not saved in MyDocs will be reset to default.

will I lose my contacts if I reflash? are they in MyDocs? this is the only thing I care to keep

Use the built-in backup app.. backup conversations, settings, contacts, applications, etc..

Then flash, then restore, and you're device is fine.

Backups are the way to go, for sure. However, the quick answer is that your contacts should survive the flashing.
