No one knows how to edit the email widget background ?

My wild guess is that it's under /usr/share/themes/alpha/images

This is a bit offtopic, but if you didn't delete the transitions.tmp, then you can just type:
sudo gainroot
cp /usr/share/themes/blackplastictheme-themedir/transitions.tmp /usr/share/themes/blackplastictheme-themedir/transitions.ini

Sorry.....you beat me on this one, i just bumped up on the Blackplastic theme thread and surprise surprise, i cant find my post.........then figured it out.......wrong thread

Nope... There I searched first...
...seems like it has no "background-image". just like the conversation widget...

The backgrounds are defined inside the code...

Very great themes nowadays, and the only thing that doesn't match are the backgrounds from the conversation and the email widget.
And it seems the devs won't update their widgets...

Still hope on Nicolai (Moonphase/calendar/etc. Widget Developer)
If one could create a new and improved "Communications Widget" it should be him...
