TweeGo.conf is owned by user, so there's no need to be root. Also, TweeGo.conf is a file, so deleting it recursively makes no sense.
  1. Launch X Terminal.
  2. Enter:
    Code:

    rm .config/Zagaia/TweeGo.conf

rootsh is completely unnecessary.

Thanx, it worked!

When I tweet something, the order of the previous tweets is strange... Is that known?

When I launch Tweego and select New Account and Allow Tweego, a msg pops up saying "Please Wait". A few second after, a second msg pops up saying "There was a network-related problem with completing the request. Please try again later".

I have ensured that I have an active working internet connection. Tried it over wifi and edge, but still getting the same msg for both. Any help?

u have to key in the pin manually one by one.....its not working if u just copy and paste it....

Last friday I was notified of an update for TweeGo in the App manager, I downloaded and installed it and now cannot open the application. It looks as though the app will open but auto closes before the login screen and returns to the desktop. Has anyone else experienced this after updating?

Read the thread.

Remove ~/.config/Zagaia/TweeGo.conf and reauthorize your account.

Will there be any implementation of mention notifications? It would be nice to call the MCE IM notification for LED/sound upon new @ mentions and maybe even draw a destroyable window that links to the mentions tab similar to how new SMS and email windows work.

Re: [ANNOUNCE] TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

Hi all,

No doubt a stupid question, but i'm stumped.

Just downloaded the most recent build of Tweego (wasn't installed previously)

When launching the app, all the menu buttons are inactive apart from
the "Allow Tweego" option

Clicking this results in the error
"There was a network related problem with completing the request please try again later"

---
I've tried using it connected to the Office wifi, home network
over 3G etc no success.

I've also followed the advice to delete the .config..... file as mentioned in earlier posts.

Created a couple of tweets in twitter in case that was the cause as mentioned in previous builds etc.

Any advice much appreciated, it's driving me insane :)
Oh should add - running PR1.3

Thanks,
J
