Well, mediabox with youtube plugin still works. But it just isn't the same. User interaction with the app and overall experience are much better on cutetube. Hope you can fix it, marxian.

Awesome app indeed! I'm still having some troubles with it, hope you can help me out.

-I don't know if that is quite normal, but when I launch cutetube it takes ~10 to 12 seconds to be functional;
-I was in need to re-install cutetube and the second time around it won't allow me to watch any selected youtube video (I'm getting a blackscreen);
-sometimes it launches, then it takes me back to my homescreen leaving no trace to launch itself later on automatically.

how sad would this be if the app became defunct? this is one of the best apps on the darn phone...

There's no danger of it becoming defunct. It isn't that big a job to get the videos working again. I'm working on it.

Going by your username, my advice is not to install applications from testing/devel repositories.

Video problems are now solved, with a bit of help from the source code for MediaBox. :)
