Underwhelming no, not as everyone expects, yes. The big surprise everyone claims, no.

haha well thanks, that leaves me even more in the dark.

Thing is, I'm already pleased with the majority of stuff on my N9 so I'm probably not as expectant as some others seem to be. Waiting to see what PR1.3 actually contains isn't all that much of a biggie for me :)

Love it when the comments steer towards cloak and dagger "I know something" type of territory. I've seen people pull that off rather well.

But as far as it goes (back on topic), PR1.3 will invariably bring some fixes that are welcome. I don't have high expectations at all.

But in all seriousness, I would've thought it was pretty obvious that the Nokia employee that replied about the PR1.3 update, saying there was a big surprise, didn't know wtf they were talking about, that was at least, my gut instinct when I heard about it.

Look at it this way, we all know how secretive Nokia is regarding updates etc, do you really think they'd tell the guys and gals responding to customer feedback emails that far in advance about the inner workings that they want to keep secret until the last minute? Of course not. Do you think those employees are all buddie buddie with the devs behind the OS, not likely (although not impossible I admit).

I bet and hope that Nokia employee got a slap on the wrist for being a wee egg.
