It's just a guess, but maybe your video file got corrupted. The only error visible related to playing the video is DSP MMUFAULT, and this comes deep from the N900 media system.

Well, I can play it without problems on the factory player. Seeking and volume control make no problems there.

Maybe it will work with the next version then, which will support MAFW as player backend. Then it will be played by exactly the same component as the Nokia media player uses.

one other thing, are you planning on providing support to download videos from youtube like the old zoutube app? also any plans to create a widget player for mediabox to replace the crappy default one by nokia?

Yes, downloading from YouTube is planned. A widget player is already under construction. See earlier in this thread.

OK, then I'll wait for the next release.

Re: MediaBox Media Center 0.96 with UPnP and more

MediaBox does not search all available (ones being up) net interfaces for UPnP services. It binds only to the first available interface...

For example: If you are connected to a network via wifi and it has some UPnP service, and next activate an OpenVPN connection with a network that has some UPnP service too, Mediabox doesn't see the services on the VPN network but only sees those on the wifi network.
The same network configuration works OK with the standard "Media player" which lists all the UPnP services on both networks (i guess it lists all services on all available interfaces).
Probably it will be nice to implement a loop for checking all interfaces so if the MediaBox player is running while an interface is added, it to be able to add the available UPnP services without being restarted.

Anyone having problems with the player not playing the next video? I've tried setting up a playlist but it stops after one video. I'm using it to play music videos. I have to manually play the next video each time. I've tried messing with all the shuffle, repeat settings but it still stops.

Would that also mean that the music won't stutter when the backlight turns off?

Any ony face a problem with volume while playing the video file ( NOT RECORDED BY N900)

I can't wait! That would be completely awesome.

Question: About the scrolling framerate - will/can it be improved?
And by using MAFW, will the CPU usage while playing music be reduced? Sorry I'm such a nag haha :D
