Re: Sailfish on Turing Phones?

IMHO the video is a fake. They just show Sailfish when the camera is frontal to the device and it looks like the Jolla or Jolla C device. You just once see the device from the back (animated?).

Smells like Scam as it always has.

True, but still: Something exiting going on:
On their facebook page they PROMISE to deliver within THREE WEEKS and to send out all the relevant information TODAY. :p

According to the reviewjolla page on TRI that would be the 9th postpone shared.
I am really curious on how many postpones will still follow :D

BTW: Has anyone else by any chance seen the videos on bending tests of the Turing Phone. They were on Facebook yesterday, but I could not watch them (no facebook account) and today they seem to be gone

*snip*

It does not look like the jolla c, but you are right with jolla 1 having same camera/speaker location.
Its a perfect match, who would have thought

Or just a hoax -- I still have no idea who that presenter is or where and how he got a working Turing Phone running Sailfish. He refers to techcrunch, but I don't find that video or anything recent about TRI on their website.

I'm willing to allow that I might be completely out of touch. I don't check techcrunch regularly, and TRI seems to do their communication through facebook -- a strange choice given their talk of security (and one infer's, privacy) -- and I've blocked everything facebook that I can here.
