an error with the led patterns
it says

different number of lines

can anybody help me???

Did you try the solutions in the thread Wikiwide linked in which you had previously posted your problem?

One person solved it with a full flash and another by removing the sim card...

Hey, I'm new and I'm a proud owner of a Nokia N9 :)
I often go on this forum because it is very complete, good tutorials, explanations, applications, ...

just a small question:
I know that all the developers in Nokia working on the N9 had to quite and now are working for jolla. I was wondering if this means we won't get any update ever ?

my dad gave my my n900
so i started to look arround a instaling new apps to the phone...
i instaled an application called led patterns...
i tried to do some changes then when i leave the app gave me that error that i say...another thing... the keypad lights doesnt work and the screen is always on...the battery wors just 3 hours then i have to rechjarge it---

Been here for a while; just noticed this thread :(

Anyway, happy user of an N9 64GB black since a couple of weeks. Bored with iOS (having that since 2007) I jumped on webOS although that ship was tanked with even with more determination than meeGo. Loved the OS but not the hardware and battery life (Pre 3). N9 combines intuitive and innovative software with extremely beautiful design.

Hello everyone. Ive been an avid n900 user for 2 years now.
started off as a phone repair specialist who got the phone by accident but have come to love it and its community. I am now the owner of an n9 and am ready to bring new apps to harmattan (hopefully) if anyone has any advice feel free to pm me!!

Hello there,

I'm new here. I got my N9 a week ago, it replaces my iPhone 4. Should have done that earlier :D. For ssh-ing into my servers, I also have an N900 from eBay. The keyboard is great, but it is too big and too heavy for my daily use.

I have bought a N900 half of a year ago in order to study a linux-based OS.
Since its wonderful phone,I gave up and sold my iPhone.
Now I have two N900s :) .thank you in advance for Maemo talk member's great infomation.

HELP PLEASE...When i want to flash my phone nothing happens when i plug in my phone i've tried it multiple times and its always off. it starts charging and nothing else happens

Hey all,

bought my N9 with 64gb an half year ago.

Superb, already had Android devices a lá htc legend, hd2 and samsung omnia 8 with windows phone 7

In the end: Android is faaaaar behind Meego/ Manhattan when using in long time, android is very laggy, when switching from menu to startscreen, it will take some seconds when everythings must refresh like weather apps, time etc.

Closing apps in android is such a pain, you never know if the app is still running in background, you must have an taskmanager to monitor it.

I love "swiping" and missed it, so glad that I didnt sold it :)

just signed up minutes ago in order to ask for help registering on wazapp. check out the wazapp thread and solve the mystery if you dare. anyways i am sporting an N9 about 5 months now and it's actually the first smartphone I've ever owned. here in Israel the cellphone service providers suddenly became extremely cheap due to competition from new companies, mainly from Golan Telecom. so i jumped aboard golan and then to take full advantage of the internet package i decided i had to get a smartphone. after doing some research i went for the n9. ive always preferred Nokia products in general plus it sounded kinda revolutionary being open sourced and based on Linux and all. thing is i am probably the least computer savvy member of this site and i think i might be a bit out of my element trying to tame this machine but i am still hopeful. i would love to learn more about programming and developing but i don't have a clue where to start. anyways, like i said in the wazapp thread, I'm good at following instructions and i have surprised myself several times already by successfully working through complicated instructions to fix a bug our make a modification or whatnot. my momma always told me i can do anything if i put my mind to it.

Hi All,
I just got a new N9(64gb black) a month back. Enjoying it so far. Had to do my first flashing after trying to install snowshoe qt browser.. Thanks to this thread - http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=82693, i was easily able to do it.

Hi all, i'm new to TMO. Is there must have (or do) list for n900? I mean full collection of last version tweaks and patches like kernel-power, DSP overckock for 720p recording/playback and other stuff in one place?

I do not consider overclocking and kernel-power as necessity - I have being doing fine without touching something as dangerous.
However, I can recommend some "must-have" applications: ModRana for Maps, MBarcode for barcode reading, Recaller for sound recording, QStardict or Goldendict as off-line dictionary, Stellarium and-or Orrery for stargazing.
Oh, and I am using CSSU-testing, though some recommend CSSU-thumb for its speed.
Unfortunately, http://wiki.maemo.org seems to be offline.

Hi! Little late but I'm happy to be apart of this community.
I've been looking for about a month now for an N900, and I know within another month or so I hope to have one! I currently have an Iphone 4 and i'm sick of ios. Been using Ubuntu since 2009 and I need a phone to complement it :]
