the second an update is released, is there a certain blog/ twitter page/ nokia developer page where it is announced? or we just have to constantly refresh app manager and find out for ourselves?

guys, pr1.2 is pending because someone changed the keymap on the build server to dvorak and we are still trying to work out how to type the "release" command.

in all seriousness, its undergoing extensive testing as many people have pointed out.

This forum will go absolutely mental, you can be sure of it. Mostly from people who have filled their rootfs up with guff and so feel the need to reflash rather than update, and then inevitably whinge that they've got a brick or a empty phone, or a 64-bit OS.
But there'll also be an official changelog thread somewhere within that whirlwind of failure.

Just read the news about the new N9 from Nokia. The first phone that will run Meego. Only have a dutch source.

'Tis the season to be hopeful - N86 8MP, E71, E66, E63 and 5800 all recieved updates recently, X6 recieved one today and checkout the changelog on the E72 over here

Not that these have anything to do with N900...

i've cleaned out my rootfs. they now have my permission to release 1.2. I apologize for the delay in letting them release it. I'll try to do better with 1.3.;)

well

pr 1.2 will not be released by nokia until they see if meego 1 is going to be for us

nokia is planing to see if meego one can work on n900
and if not
then they will release pr 1.2
so that we keep quite and we n900 users get happy with it

so I think pr 1.2 will be released after meego 1
