Try

Code:

apt-get install qtquickcompat=0.1.0+0cssu1
that will install the required version of qtquickcompat.

Then try mp-fremantle-community-pr again. ;)

already tried that. There isn't any. If you look here http://maemo.org/packages/view/qtquickcompat/

and here http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...0.36-2maemo16/

you'll see that such package doesn't exist

To fix the CSSU Features from the Power Menu. :)

I've personally not had any problems with this CSSU and I thank everyone involved greatly. From my personal point of view, and I know I'm not the only one, you folks are providing greater support for the N900 than Nokia ever have, and I truly appreciate it! :D

@J4ZZ
Scratch it please... If I was you I would hit me on the head. I hate it when people ask for help and don't pay attention and now I've done it. In fact I was searching how to install a specific version with apt and I failed to find it, when it was in front of me.

anyway many thanks i think it's installing right now

You can add it manually, like this:
Code:

echo whitelist = FBReader >> /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini
Code:

gconftool -st bool /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/desktop_orientation_lock true
Or, if you want to block rotation of whole hildon-desktop, including launcher and menu:
Code:

gconftool -st bool /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/ui_can_rotate false

Hi
Thank you !
The whitelist working good, but the other 2 commands is lock my phone in the landscape mode, not in portrait mode that I want...
Thanks

P.S. I found another little problem - the Desktop Switcher stop to work if Vertical Scrolling is activated...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

Dear CSSU team:

As the wiki say: Who is it for? Long-term: all N900 users/owners.

The date of this post is 01-04-11 (January, right?), we are in September, so the quiestion is: How long is the Long-term we are talking about to see a stable CSSU to the end users?

I got a proposal for you, now that the last update (big one) got stuff like desktop portrait, etc., and got to the Extras-devel, why not polish this version enought to be the first CSSU stable version to everyone?

I say this because if you keep doing update after update (all very welcomes of course) maybe never going to have a stable version (i hope i wrong).

I see this update like an opportunity to going in the direction this project (i guess that is the goal, right?) could be available to all.

I am truly grateful for ALL the work of the developers (no just CSSU) do for this amazing device, but just see that should be a strong plan, and follow that plan (maybe it exist this plan, i don't know if exist).

Thanks to all, and hope you understand my point.

Greetings.
