This months bill is in and wow lol. I didnt expect this.
I did 3.5Gb last month... 1.5Gb in 1 minute at midnight apparently to vodafone (complete ********, as I use my internet during the DAY, when I am not at home with my 20Mb cable line!) Anyway, no texts all month at all. Plus if I would have got charged, it would have been £30 this month. I WANT TO CANCEL AND I WANT TO CANCEL NOW! |

I did over 5.5GB last month trying, but all I got was 3 texts then nothing else
no extra charges on the bill either |

I've just had a conversation with someone from Vodafone, as a user contacting the customer care line, and she informed me that Vodafone WILL NOT charge you extra for data usage unless you're consistently using over 1GB for at least 3 months in a row.
She also said that Vodafone would only charge you extra with fair warning (apparently 5 wb days). I know it's not the point, but at least they're being kind of fair about it... At the end of the day all operators say that they can change the terms and conditions whenever they want, which we all know anyway, but we're just particularly miffed because it directly affects us. Current rules don't seem so bad. Unless I go on a rampage with Transmission ;) |

OK All,
This is my THIRD MONTH in exceeding the data usage limits on Vodafone. Month 1: 1.5Gb Month 2: 3.5Gb Month 3: 1.5Gb So I SHOULD now get a call from Vodafone about my usage bla bla bla. And then, I SHOULD be charged, and BAM, CANCELLED CONTRACT... Or at least I hope so! |

i was able to cancel my contract, although it was because of the changes to their data roaming charges rather than because of the "unlimited" data issue
just glad im done with vodafone |

I find TVC Player is good for eating data, done 500mb in the past two days since my last bill. No warnings yet this month, have had three texted warnings per month for the past two months
