Hopefully pr1.2 have all these bug fix a saw and some plot
and additional feature that they have in for us.

To me, the dramatic Overclocking thread was more important and interesting than the 1.2 update. But the more progress the better...

Can you explain what aspect waiting for 1.2 is so "stressful"?

As far as people know the update is currently being tested.

Considering how much is actually in the update it is no surprise it is taking longer than expected.

Somebody please help me!
I overclocked my N900 and when I try to update to the just released PR1.2 update (finally) it says it's not compatible?
Is that because I flashed it or something with the version number and model number not displaying anymore in About or something?
Do I really need to do a full flash now?

This has nothing to do with pr 1.2 not getting released any time soon, but i'm starting to doubt nokia.

The future and future phones and the stuff such as MeeGo being so late. (minimum 2 years late)

Yes I had the same thing. But instead of saying it's not compatible, it says "kill -9 by Chuck Norris". Maybe somebody could help us.

btw. What the hell Chuck Norris doing inside my N900? I thought he is still in iceland right now to clean up all the ashes.

I am a Graphic Designer, but I work with our developers every day. I have my deadlines and they have theirs, but We usually know when the project will be done, or almost done. I do not need an accurate release date, but waiting blindly for a long time makes me a bit nervous. This device is simply NOT finished.

Sometimes I thing I should go for 3GS. Tons of Apps, great UI. BUT NO, I chose "THE OPEN" way instead. No proffesional apps in the OVI store. At least this community has a sense of humor.

hope it deserves the waiting, especially concerning reaction time! (e.g. app manager needs secular waitings to install/remove few-kb-apps)

Even the Andoid says the release day of the new firmware of 2.2 ....19 of May they can do the update....why maemo can't say the release day of PR 1.2 ?

Never owned an android phone so I wouldn't know, but does Android firmware update consist mainly of new features ? or bugfixes(if any) ??
