v40 seems fine, no instabilities on ULV 250 - 1000, just been playing angry birds for about an hour straight, absolutely fine.

Due to many requests, here are all the Queen Beecon Widget exports that I use as seen below:
(I have zipped up each widget's export output as a txt file)

INSTALL STEPS

0. Download the attachment posted at beginning of that post and extract its contents. Then copy the TXT files into any folder in N900. (just create a folder called 'Beecon Exports' or something)
1. Install rootsh (latest version will do)
2. Install QBW (latest version is 1.9.7 or something)
3. Create a new QBW widget on the desktop
4. Go to settings of that widget (tool icon)
5. click advanced
6. click yes
7. scroll way down
8. click Import File to Buffer
9. Select the txt file you want to enable (eg. stock)
10. click Import Buffer to Beecon
11. done. now exit out and click Save.
12. Now go back to settings of that widget called STOCK
13. click Edit Cmd
14. replace "rootsh" with "sudo" then click save.
15. click save
16. Now you have a STOCK widget.

Do the same for ideal.txt and ideal_1000
Do the same up to step 11 for other non OC widgets.

Can some give me a txt file for max 850 please, (I am unsure how to change the 1000 to 850)

That way I can click on the stock button to get original settings, or my 850 button to OC

Thanks

v40 does add some headers in order to build fcam drivers also against Titan's kernel... that's it - nothing you have to care about but the fcam developers.

Re: Overclock the N900?

hi!

i just wanna ask about the auto-load of settings of kernel on boot.

so if i

Code:

/usr/sbin/kernel-config default ideal
the IDEAL settings will load on boot,

now, how will i revert it back to default?

is;

Code:

/usr/sbin/kernel-config default default
okay?

thanks

Strange - since I installed v40 and re-booted (even multiple times) my accelerometer does not work anymore (turning the phone to get the phone modem, eyes widget, etc.).
Can someone confirm this? Thanks.

that is actually a bug in kernel power, not in multiboot.

power39 was suppose to add support for multiboot by introducing the kernel-power-bootimg package, which replaces kernel-power.
however, kernel-power settings still depends on kernel-power, meaning you cant install it with kernel-power-bootimg!!!

nothing we can do in multiboot to fix that

call to you titan !! :)
