no way. shipping starts friday and the last preorderers should have their devices 27.11.2009. this has been announced multiple times here allready.

It has NOT been announced, it has been SPECULATED.
Two very different things, and presenting this stuff as fact is what gets everyone (myself included) in a buzz. With even Nokia's latest press release being a lie, I trust nothing until at least a few people can cough up a tracking number. I'd suggest everyone wait for that to start to believe, too.

Most Nokia phones spend a few months hibernating in the Ether before trudging their way to the Earth... 'release' of the N900, N97/mini and E72 are just a few examples of this procedure!

What do you mean no way?? If you have paid for the express delivery you will get your device in 24h. So it means monday. Simple as that.

I just love this.

10'th november, it was "out now!" and shipping but nobody could get it and/or had a tracking number.

Yesterday, it landed, and was available at nokia retail stores but nobody could buy it:)

FYI someone had a tracking number and it was delivered... I'm not putting it online for people, to protect the privacy of the person... Not sure if it was his phone that got delivered. but this was the only package he/she was expecting on next day delivery!!!!

Can someone please bring me some good news today....I've sold my iPhone (hated it - it was rubbish at everything else except browsing internet, its a phone for 'numpties' - people with very low IQ) and also my Hero yesterday, feel limbless without a decent phone for browsing the net!

Please Nokia don't let me down....I've always had Nokia's as my main phones, since 1997!

This means, Nokia.de Online Shop will have it sooner, as they start exclusively shipping as the first shop in Germany.

Right I just spoke with Nokia (UK) they advised me that the device has officially been confirmed for the week commencing the 23rd. The adviser then asked if I was a Pre-order customer to which I replied "You damn right" he then said that I will defo be getting my device next week. I also asked if I will recieve the device on Monday or weather it will ship on Monday... He said he didn't know it depends on Nokia's systems (Maybe they have or are getting the devices today or tomorrow and they just need to allocate all stock to pre-orders)

I then rang the Nokia shop (Manchester,UK) and asked if they were getting the devices in today or tomorrow he replied with a very abrupt "end of the month sir end of the month"

For anyone that's interested.

Before anyone says anything, I realise I got a bit shirty with the person, but my gripe with with MPD's lack of communication! And they aren't easy to get in touch with, the Live chat has been hit and miss for a while, the phone number just gets you to leave a message and they simply ignore the Enquiry Form!

And as said in my chat "We are trying to get a date before emailling everyone", is not an excuse. You'd have thought that by 2-3 days past their expected delivery date, someone would have thought, "Hmmmm, perhaps we should let the pre-order people know that there's a delay". Someone quoted that MPD had 500 pre-orders earlier in this thread, I doubt all 500 read these forums (or this thread) and I even doubt most will successfully contact MPD, and will be wondering where the hell there phone is! [/rant]

I won the N900 at the Chicago N900 Meetup. The "Wonderful" Katja from Nokia sent it to me from Finland. I don't think Nokia is shipping production models quite yet.

Well, they have it on the 25th according to shop.nokia.de. I'd rather take it 2 days later for 100€ less.

There are some German online shops that claim to have it on the 27th. The question is now which one will have enough N900 on that date with the price still around 500€.

Do you think Mediamarkt will also have them shortly after the 27th?

wrong. all that has been promised is that the last preorderers will have their devices at latest 27.11.2009. no promises that anyone has their device at monday.

e: it is probable that some preorderers will have their devices at monday but how do you know if you are among the first or the last?

ee: and apparently they ship the devices in batches and can't ship every device @tomorrow (law of physics stopping or something)

Just got a confirmation e-mail from Nokia Online store, Finland, stating that delivery will start on week 48 and for me to check my card if I have funds or not
