Still getting used to the interface, but I really like it better. It is easier to manipulate in a moving car (although I have to remind myself to *double* click)...Thanks.

I have a question. I don't know whats involved, but instead of starring tracks to mark the stopping point, how much more/different/whatever work would it be to remember the location in a shadow track or something. For instance if you have tllts-325.ogg, could you have a .tllts-325.ogg in .mediabox (or even in the original directory) that is updated with checkpoint information, on the fly. Just an idea, and I don't know what is involved in creating a comprehensive player like this...I'm still only learning python.

EDIT - everything works as intended - this is now officially the best media player for maemo around. Things I've noticed:

-Scrolling is much smoother and it doesn't "snap" anymore! Which is great because it used to confuse the hell out of me when I browse through my huge album collection.

-With the 'top' command in xterm the load while playing is 20% which is the same as the default player. That's an awesome feature :)

No, it works the same on the N800 and N810. You need LRC files along with your music for lyrics.

I did not see this issue in the bug list/forum search, so I'll post here - MediaBox does not appear to acknowledge the sleep/wake-up timer when the device enters power saving mode (N900). As such, the device will keep playing music when it is supposed to sleep, or fail to wake up and play music at the designated time. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

(Nice job, by the way, with the application - I haven't looked at it since it first was released on the N900, and the application feels much faster, and is more usable.)
