Re: Quake 3 on N900

In my case ioQuake3 stopped working a few months ago and I haven't had the time to investigate the reason.

Anyway the development has stalled not only for ioQuake3 but I haven't seen may new ports during the summer.

Yes I appreciate the response too, but apparently you're not aware that space is NOT the issue here. The game just doesn't work for some of us, and this is not helping.

What the?

Bear in mind that the OPT folder/Partition only has 2GB. A basic Q3 installation files is nearly 500MB or 25% of it! I'm down to my last 200MB of the OPT with all the other applications!

You are a troll.

We described our issue in a clear manner and I even posted a screenshot. Now you, after I already explained our problem has nothing to do with space, bring up the matter of available space again and even act surprised. What is wrong with you?? Can you get it in your head that we have successfully installed the game, which meant copying all the required files??

Excellent.. giecsar - have you ever considered you are the one who has hijacked a generic thread about Quake 3 on the N900? Just because other people (A.S and Creamy Goodness) post a response on a general thread doesnt always mean that they have been replying to your request for help as it could be there to help others.

You are really going to win friends by telling people to go away because they havent answered your question (on a general thread) or calling people by names?

You absolutely deserve no answer at all!

You clearly have trouble reading and understanding English.
First of all, this thread has not been hijacked by me (or anyone else for that matter). Nobody has discussed anything else but Quake 3. If you somehow didn't notice the title of the thread, it's "Quake 3 on N900".

Second, I don't mind and have nothing against people discussing other issues regarding Quake 3 on N900. If things are really that difficult for you to understand, go back now and read the previous posts a few more times. Now let me try to make it clear, once again. He made a reply to MY POST. A reply to ME, acting surprised that I don't have space issues.
As you said, they should be free to discuss other issues if they want, but why does he continue to annoy me personally with this after I already made it clear I have enough space???

For crying out loud, discuss it all you want!!! Discuss it to death!! But leave me alone, I don't have this problem!!!!!

Jeez.....

Wouldn't the space issues be solved if the port was downloaded and then booted through a memory card/sandisk32GB things?
