Re: PR1.2 is RELEASED!!
THE BADS:
========= *The video bitrate is ~600kbps in opposed to previous version's ~3,500kbps?? Hope its not for the final release. *Still dual LEDs not working while recording videos. *Video streaming ya still not working. Shows connecting forever.. Again hope its not the same for the final release as it was already mentioned fixed. *No video call option in GTalk. *It said improved email client but had problem downloading the attachments like before. THE GOODS: =========== *Video call working in skype calls *Potrait browsing with the back, add bookmark and access to bookmarks buttons. *Qt-4.6 from dpkg -l | grep qt *Options to choose "High 16:9" "Fine 4:3" & "Low 4:3" resolutions video though the quality isn't of prev version but again it may not be the same for final one. *Now there's HIgh, Medium, Low and Widescreen resolutions to choose from for photo. *Night mode for both video and photo Only this video thing that made me confused to stick with it until final one comes out or quickly just go back to prev version coz everything else as far as I know and except the ones mentioned above are working.. |

Re: PR1.2 is RELEASED!!
just wanted to make sure, i used the command
flasher-3.5 -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.12-9_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM .bin -f -R But it only erased the rootfs i thought this was supposed to erase rootfs and mass memory, or was this only supposed to erase rootfs? |

Re: PR1.2 is RELEASED!!
Sorry but... shame on Nokia...
There is "leaked?" PR1.2 firmware yet officially we can't find this. This is exactly like N900 situation in my country. We have grey import units of N900, but official/authorised Nokia store in my country have no single information about the phone, some staff didn't even know what is N900! What a shame... people keep asking and calling up asking about the N900 but none of them have any information about the phone. What's the point of being official/authorised or supporting authorised/official/original when the treatment is "no information" when the others can get faster information and latest updates? |
