@percy As I wrote earlier, Nokia told me at the phone, NO OTHER Shop in Germany will ship this phone before Nokia Germany, this is due to the fact that they have the highest numbers of preorders and they are the official shop. So I guess, I will have mine mid of next week, and all the other shop during the week after.

I also got the email from Nokia Store Finland! Hopefully will be in the first batch (ordered 5th of september) and get it monday or tuesday. Does UPS transfer items in saturday?

Well, I never said that. But there are online shops that claim to have it 2 days after Nokia Germany. So I hope that I can save 100€ by waiting some more days...

When o2 announced the availability of the Palm Pre for October 13th (a Tuesday) I went into Mediamarkt on the following Saturday and to my surprise they had the Pre already there for sale.

So I still have the hope that they are at least available in other online shops shortly after Nokia Germany starts sending them.

To all finns it seems verkkokauppa.com for the first time has official arrival time and that seems to be 4.12.2009. Price went down 20 euros to 569.

I didn't got the impression that the guy really want to speak about that. He has no other information than 25.11
all other countries begin shipping on 20. and only germany "waits" 5 days more? mmhh...

said it before...nokia support sucks!

edit: he also said that nokia online shop ships first, no other shop will do that before them

Nobody including Nokia has a collective clue when product will be available. If they did, someone would have stock now or there would be a common date. If on allocation, Nokia stores would have it first and maybe official resellers- maybe. Since Nokia flag stores still do not have product, nobody else will either.

The discontent is increasing (it would seem).

First wave of discontent is the pi55 poor launch of the N900 by Nokia

Second wave will be all the pi55ed of smartphoners who get the device and do not like it since it will not function using just one hand. This is the fault of some reviews calling it a smartphone and Nokia for even putting the word "smartphone" in some of their publications about the device.

Bet on it.

For once I'm not so excited about this phone at the moment. I'm actually more excited about my organic chemistry exam in an hour from now. Lol, feel like I can ace it and have no worry in the world.
