sound quality is perfect for me. also testes youtube, no jittering as far as i can see.

i'm used to the e71, this is a whole new league.

just copying phone list in the background as i type. seems easy. so far. gotta get used to the backspace and enter key tho.

anyone want any tests done?

T-mobile added new number on my account yesterday but my status at MPD is still 'Ready to Dispatch' n MPD hasn't charged 3.99 for delivery till now...I'd ordered for a upgrade but NEW number...i'm waiting my n900 to delivered before i raise my number issue to MPD..any suggestions!!!!

Yeah, I own E71 too and it's great, however I don't expect N900 to replace it, but... who knows? ;)

it feels tiny! well, slightly thick, but smaller than my e71 in other aspects. alot thinner than an n93!!!!

easily fits in a pocket, and 2 handed use is fine. trying this line 1 handed. with big hands it is a little stretch, but doable. using the hardware keyboard.

i have fat thumbs, keys are fine.

The suspense is killing me now. Now we know MPD really have sorted things and peoples are getting there handsets through now!! I best not get too hammered tonight, wanna get up early to listen out for the postman tomorrow :)

Ok I've just ordered one on the 35/month for 18 months plan from MPD (but will use it on 3). Will let everyone know when it arrives - hoping before Christmas but there are probably a lot of other retailers who might get batches before MPD get more.

My order status is 'New (contract)' - can anyone tell me what statuses is will go through before it arrives?

Update from me - no delivery yet confirmed by GF, ready for despatch status since yesterday, ordered 7/11 voda 12 months, no phone calls as I`m within the last 30 days

Should be New (Contract), if you're unluck you'll next get the dreaded "pending stock" then "ready for despatch" and finally "complete"

I'd love mine to change to complete... its 3pm.. this is the deadline for them sorting the phones out before sending out today's batch. I spoke to them at 10am to update card details... Surely they can't be incompetent enough to not get my phone ready in 5 hours can they?!

2 more hours of work and then off to the pub to help speed up my Friday evening :-) Early night though - would be rude to not be in top shape for my N900 tomorrow morning... hehe

It doesnt seem like the status really matters much at the mo, so long as you've got the ready for despatch then it may well have already been sent. Some have had theirs delivered but their status hasnt changed and they've had no final invoice emial either. Wouldnt worry too much, i still have hopes for tomorrow morning, failing that monday.

I ordered 8th but im still hopeful. like i said in my previous post. it doesnt look like the status means too much right now. think they're practically throwing them out the door and dealing with status updates later.

hmmm, i ordered 8th and the billing address/first delivery address before redirection by royal mail is in southend. No email as of yet tho.

Most likely royal mail being slow and crap.

They once took 3 weeks to deliver a very small package to me in essex from wales. yet a package i sent a week after to wales got there in 2 days.

Took a very cheeky 'long lunch break', dashed home, got my slip, went to the PO and Im now the proud owner of a new n900. I cant test it as Im still at work, but at least it is in my hands now :-)

ha yeah!! i really hope that doesnt happen this time. i phoned the sorting office last time and had a right go at the manager and low and behold the next morning earlier than usual the parcel containing my CPU had turned up. Funny that.

Just checked status, it says complete! Oh happy days!:D with any luck will be with me tomorrow morning!

Also got email saying it has been dispatched. No money out yet. You guys might want to check yours.

Grr because I'm on the same contract as you and ordered 12 days before you, but great news!

Whip it out at work - if anyone says anything, just show it to them and they won't mind anymore...
