Hi I am trying to create QBW which are transparent in the middle but have an outer boundary line and then text in the middle. Something like this. However, don't know how to go about it. The attached image I created a transparent file with gimp. Then I used Microsoft Photo Editor to insert four lines to make the boundaries and then put the text in the middle. But when I use as a QBW the whole thing is transparent.

Could someone help me work out how to do it or be a hero and create them for me. I want one for Stock, 1GHz, 1.15GHz and Ideal. I think I have seen something like that earlier on this thread somewhere.

Hi there..

Did you set the the Png command title to fit!! and as for the text just name your widget as " Stock, 1GHz" and so on . set to show title.

hi.. this a new one.
i use from linux.zip for indicator update.
put all inside that zip to usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon

while,
i use from battlooklike.zip for my progress indicator.
put wmProgressIndicator.png to /opt/usr/share/themes/[your theme]/images

I would say "Yes" if you use the Qbw that is floating around... They are named for My N900 .

Just a quick one..... Found a fantastic wee Widget from the king of Widgets:D "nicolai"

He has done it again:D Its basic at the mo,BUT IT WORKS!!

It will get better as all of his widgets do. I have changed the look to fit with my screens sorry Nicolai.

There is a python script to use QBW to randomly change your desktop wallpaper. The script is below. However, I don't know how to use the script nor even know what python is. I tried entering the script in QBW but get an error message. Tried it in xterm but that didn't work either. Could someone tell me how I implement it.

Hey Qosmio would you run
find / -name transmission.png in xterm as root for me please mate and post the output. I have this transmission icon (attached) to add to my icon pack for next update but need to know file sizes and locations. I noticed you have it.

That didn't really work. I have followed the instruction super carefully and nothing happened at all. There is no Reboot button anywhere. Any other ideas ?

the file in that post is the original systemui file with the reboot button, it doesnt have any other mods, so if you have other mods in your systemui this will overwrite them.
