update: sorry I got the colour wrong, DHL are yellow, we dont get many deliveries from DHL its usually the brown of UPS who are on the ball.

Sorta bittersweet to see the refunds coming in; but overall they seem to be keeping their word but in very small doses on both the delivery of the refund and delivery of the tablets.

I guess patience is the other aspect of this whole lesson.

i see the tablet misadventure as a sort of bridging-loan to better times for jolla.

i could bring myself to by the jphone (nokia N900 > nokia N9 > Nexus 5 > Huweaiai P8), and i wasn't even that interested in a tablet (tho 8" 2048x1536 is the right tablet to have), but i still want a sailfish device (my P8 was so cheap i don't care if i replace it after a year).

Parcelforce sent me an invoice this morning for my Jolla tablet from Taobao via YOYbuy.

£34.97 Import VAT
£13.50 Clearance Fee (!)
£48.47 Total.

This is in addition to the ~£200 I paid YOYBuy.

Delivery is supposed to be tomorrow according to the Parcelforce website.

Interesting - Seems two of the more popular sellers for the jolla tablet on Taobao have raised the price from 1300 to 1600 Yuan.
