The resulting price is from the fact that the n950 started out as a developers device....and never went to mainstream production and sale...
They just went to directly to working on the n9 ....(don't like the n9 ....)

I still use mine as of today. If I had to buy to replace Rover, I would go for Gemini PDA LTE version and put Sailfish 3 on it. I still secretly wish the HMD Global re-releases the N900.

Here is my desktop setup. I had there also clawsmail but it started to crash big time and haven't been able to set startmail imap to any other good mailing app so installed Fennec and enter mail through there. For me calls, sms, mms, rss feed, telegram through pidgin, mail, photo+video, voice recording, abiword for writing, web and youtube is enough to carry in my pocket. And then there comes everything else you can do with it + the linux appeal + freedom. So N900 works 2018.

There are already plenty of various walkthroughs for the n900
I would suggest you refer to the wiki.
The perfect setup is one...I would recommend
Yet another walkthtough...especially by someone who has yet to actually get it set up..after 7 attempts....is perhaps premature...
I would suggest using the wiki.
And for specific issues...using power search...to locate the issues specifically you are having ..and follow the recommended advice you find in them.
Asking for help concerning multiple issues already resolved and answered elsewhere is an epic waste of your time...the respondents time.. and disseminates the topic already covered ...into multiple pointless offshoot threads which make life just that much more tedious to sift through...
So...please research before posting..
Especially posting a walkthrough before accomplishing the most basic walkthrough in the wiki.

Just came across an advertisement on a online store in my country. Someone is selling a N900 for about 15$. Only problem is that its charging port is broken. Charging port can be fixed here for around 3$. So should i buy it?
I already have a N900 with me. But i just want to buy another one dont know why.

2018 still using my N900 for Rockbox and Notes, i'll probably never get a new phone, this thing refuses to die.
