One has nothing to do with the other.

I guess that's too much speculation though. |
Re: Third Internet Tablet spotted on FCC
Today's Seattle Times has a front page photo of presumably the Nokia WiMax model with an exclusive front page story in their Business section, also with the photo of the Nokia (among other WiMax models). http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...2_wimax27.html

The photo of the Nokia on page two of the Business section has indeed the label on it of N800 but the screen has different icons, with an enlarged keyboard and a sample message saying "Hi Sun! Nice to see you on-line again!"

Re: Third Internet Tablet spotted on FCC
...and although other manufacturers have actually been showing off WiMax equipment - Nokia were only mentioned as someone who will be providing equipment in the future. I think it's therefore fair to say that whatever the FCC tested, it's not a WiMax version (especially as the deal with Intel was done after the FCC tested the device).
This at least means that after this device comes out, we'll still have the WiMax device to start rumours about when it will be available, and for Texrat to either join in, or go strangely quiet about... ;) |
