Cool. Location seems to work on mobian. It's "mobian," right, not "mebian"? Cause it's Debian that's mobile? No camera, though. :(

Ah, I thought they had the camera running already too. Perhaps one of the early-testing imgs. this stuff is moving pretty fast.

Camera should be working on mobian. Install "megapixel". Front cam is as bad as n900.

I was quite disappointed with hildon-desktop's performance on the p-boot multi-image demo. Did that have hw accel? It was a bit of a slideshow.

Also, does the latest leste image 20200624 have the patch for the 3GB variant?

Nope, but the issue has been reported on github and is being worked on.

Is it possible to add repositores on maemo leste? Also wanted to know how to add phone and text message for pinephone. Thanks

yes, it is a regular debian/devuan system, with the same caveats, e.g. adding 'bad' repos could bork your system. what repos did you have in mind to add?

Lot of done after 2020. Performance is now good and 3 GB models works with all images after september 2022.

What repos are available? I only could start from micro sd. Running the most recent image
