That was a message posted to the maemo developers mailing list and the target audience were software developers (that's why it is full of framebuffer API details, screen update timings, etc.). I never expected this information to get outside the developers mailing list with some overly pessimistic interpretation causing some confusion. PS. Just in case, "graphics bus performance" is some technical characteristics and it is not the same thing as "video playback performance".
