Your perception is still out of tune. Might want to have that looked at. A forum search or two should help. ;)

Anyway, few here have been more constructively critical of my employer than I have. I just don't have the freedom to vent wildly.. like the true trolls.

Thanks for your efforts to support the tablets, though. Now, if only the advanced users here would vote on bugs, things might come unstuck. 3 votes on a critical issue (#1252, just one real example) won't motivate too many people.

Texrat a troll? Now I really have heard everything!

You're really in danger of becoming one yourself there, brontide (assuming we haven't already passed that point). You should, perhaps, reevaluate what you consider valid contributions as technical support, community-advocate on-the-inside, bugzilla reporter, hint-dropper, and all-around great guy somehow don't seem to fall into that category. :\

Thanks GA, but I admit to having had my troll-like moments.

They should come fewer and farther between though.

Do trolls go "hee-hee-hee" and refuse to tell you anything beyond "hold on to your socks"?

yeah, my patience and my wallet. I don't think we even get that kind of speed up here and whatever speed there is it is so outrageously expensive to be only of use to corporate paid accounts. Kind of like that stupid toll road we have, totally corrupt and about 100 times more expensive than anywhere else. I'd be thrilled to get 3Mbs or anywhere close to that from a roaming wireless setup. Even that won't max the IT but comes close and is enough speed to be highly functional.

serial.... wasn't that a geeky dream going from 300 baud eventually to 19.2k. zoom zoom.

I'm not even sure what the first part means ;) Thanks for trying though :)

We can't be out-done by the Apple blogs on our steadfastness to get behind the technologies Nokia says will be good for us. With regard to WiMax, Semper fidelis people.

+1. ;) gawd let's hope that doesn't happen..

a little update on my research for my area; so far no replies to my queries about WiMAX. I know it's here but nobody yet wants to discuss it at the provider. Simple question, can I bring my own device and not use their brick modem... so far no reply.

I still dislike the name.
